Cloning a Template

- It is possible to make changes to an existing template and then create a new template based on it .
- To do so, a user can clone an existing document. The user needs to go to the template interface of the document, go to “Actions” and then click on “Clone Document” option.
- The document can be cloned by providing the name of a new template.
- The user will be redirected to the list of documents the new cloned document can be seen. The new template will be created in the same repository as the original document.
- By clicking on the document, the user will be sent to its main page from where the metadata description, tags and category of the document can be modified.
- The user can upload the modified template with the help of the “Change document template” button (see update document template).
